Nali Outdoor Wear is located in downtown Brevard, NC. Just minutes away from Pisgah National Forest & DuPont State Forest, Brevard is a small mountain community that offers easy access to hundreds of miles of trails, great dining, a vast array of artists & craftspeople, and great music. This is not only where we live, but who we are. Inspired by beautiful day hikes, an exhilarating trail run, and relaxed outdoor living, Nali offers clothing, footwear, and gear for your casual and rugged adventures.

        Nali is owned and operated by Brevard resident, Seyl Park. Beginning in 1997 as a team building facilitator and camp counselor, Seyl has spent time working year round for organizations such as Brevard College's Wilderness Leadership Department and North Carolina Outward Bound. After years in the outdoor education field, Seyl sought out new life adventures, in which Nali was conceived and then born on September 1, 2005. With a background of rock climbing and backpacking, nowadays, you can typically find Seyl on his mountain bike, a nice trail run, or with his wife and 2 boys hiking the trails and creeks. It has been these experiences that have given Seyl the opportunity to discover and learn the trails of Pisgah and DuPont. Eager to give advice on a nice hike or hear a good trail story, he loves talking about the woods almost as much being in them.

        Alongside Seyl, you will find staff that is courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our goal is simple: whether you are strolling downtown, spending a day in the woods, or traveling to a far off destination, Nali is dedicated to providing the clothing, footwear, & gear that will take you there and back. Seyl and his staff are available to offer their thoughts and opinions on what might fit and work the best for your needs. If they do not have what you need, they are more than willing to point you in the right direction.

        A common question that we hear is, "So, what does Nali mean?" The name comes from a shortened version of Seyl's dog, Denali. Part Malamute and part Australian Sheppard, Denali is named after the tallest peak in North America, Mt McKinley (also known as Denali).
